The Mountain stage introduce itself
The Bergbühne is surrounded by the cultivated park of Thuringian Forest in Fischbach, county Gotha near Tabarz.

The Bergbühne from the motorway A4, from Tabarz/Friedrichroda (entry Tabarz, course Brotterode and after
approx. 1 km right from Fischbach).
The Bergbühne was built in 1952 through the personal contribution of the citizens.
Approximately 2000 Visitors can sit in. Fischbach, with Bergbühne and Thuringian cottage,
are famous for their hosting of events like popular art and theatrical performances by Provincial
theatre from Eisenach.
Some well known artists, who have performed at Bergbühne are: Herbert Roth, Marianne & Michael,
Stefanie Hertel, Stefan Mross, Hansi Hinterseher, Linda Feller, Tom Astor, Original Oberkrainer,
siblings Hofmann, Florian Silbereisen, Mara Kayser, Angela Wiedl, Wildecker Herzbuben, Margot Helwig,
Roberto Blanko, Costa Cordalis, Bernd Cluver, Frank Lang, Takeo Ischi, Wildecker Herzbuben, Heino,
Kristina Bach, Michelle, Patrick Lindner, Cris Andrews, Truck Stop and more...
Furthermore, orchestras and bands like the Thuringian Philharmonic's, The Lords, The Rubetts, Orchestra Justus Franz and
the Philharmonic orchestra of the nations.
The commune Emsetal and Fischbach`s clubs take care of the park and are happy to ensure that tradition is preserved.
The playability and the technic was modernized with financial assistance by country. It is intendend the stage to make
use intensively in order to advance the area`s attractivity.
The audio engineering and stagecraft was ameliorated; a fix place of stage direction and stage illumination
cut out for re-creation concept. It was an investment of 80.000 €.
The commune allows for the letting or renting of the stage to interested parties.
Fischbach`s clubs pledges to assist and support arrangements or programmes being held at the venue.
(E.g. catering, dishes and beverages, flow regulation – parking place is available). Also, there are
dressing rooms for the artists near the stage.
